Regional Inequality of Higher Education Development in China: Comprehensive Evaluation and Geographical Representation

China’s higher education has entered the stage of a universal system, enrolling over 50% students, and Chinese government takes its high-quality oriented development as educational goal. However, largest developing country in world, regional inequality is still major obstacle to equitable China. With 1270 institutions listed by Ministry Education 2021 research objects, degree (HED), influencing factors, was visualized after being calculated geo-statistical methods, such geographical detectors.
